Comprehensive Examination Option
Students electing to complete a comprehensive examination must take an additional eight credits of approved electives in place of thesis credits. The comprehensive examination consists of a timed, three-hour closed-book portion and a one-week take-home exam taken no earlier than before the last semester of graduate study.
