MPH Admission Requirements

Admissions are done through the UNH Graduate School for both fall and spring semesters. Direct work experience in public health is helpful, however it is not required for admissions. If you have no direct public health experience, we suggest highlighting the transferable skills you bring from your previous paid and volunteer experiences in your application. The Admission Committee uses previous academic records, current experience, and recommendations as indicators of success. While we do not require GRE scores, we do encourage those who have taken the GRE to submit their scores. Interviews with the MPH Program Coordinator are encouraged.

An application must include:
1. UNH Graduate School Application Form
2. Answers to five essay questions (in lieu of completing the personal statement question on the Graduate School Application form.)
3. Official transcripts from previous undergraduate and graduate education
4. GRE required
5. Current resume

6.Three letters of recommendation
