Outreach

Research in the health management and policy department often has a direct and pragmatic effect on health organizations, at the community and state levels. Our department’s outreach programs extend to board memberships, program development and evaluation, and a wide-ranging professional network in the region. That network engages health management and policy students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

New Hampshire Healthy Schools Coalition
The New Hampshire Healthy Schools Coalition (NHHSC) is the NH affiliate of the national Action for Healthy Kids initiative.  Current NHHSC efforts are aimed at creating healthier school environments by addressing issues of nutrition education, physical activity and education and the food choices available in  New Hampshire's schools.  You can find additional information on our coalitions current activities by selecting the New Hampshire page at actionforhealthykids.org
