Student Health Management Organization (SHMO)
Students majoring in health management and policy have their own
organization, which undertakes various activities each year. There
are separate sections of SHMO for students interested in acute care,
long-term care, and public health that are linked to national professional
chapters. SHMO organizes professional and social functions throughout
the year and is open to any major in the Department. SHMO has minimum
student dues and fundraisers to help support programming.
