Graduate Program

A minimum of 30 approved graduate credits including a thesis (24 graduate course credits plus 6 thesis credits) are required in the thesis plan plus an oral defense of the thesis.

KIN 805 Topics in Applied Physiology (4 cr)
KIN 831 Advanced Exercise Science Laboratory Procedures (3 cr)
KIN 900 Applied Statistics (4 cr)
KIN 901 Analysis of Professional Literature (4 cr)
KIN 902 Colloquium (2 cr) (2 semesters required)
KIN 824 Metabolic Adaptation to Exercise
KIN 836 Fitness & Graded Exercise Testing
KIN 896 Advanced Research in Exercise Science (6 cr)

 

Any remaining coursework in the concentration should be taken within the department of Kinesiology; however, approval may be granted to take relevant courses outside the department.
