Transfer Students
The nursing department welcomes applications for admission from students who wish to transfer from other degree programs at UNH only. Students who wish to transfer into nursing from another bachelor’s degree program at UNH submit an internal transfer application through the department of nursing. Students enrolled at the Thompson School of Applied Science or Division of Continuing Education associate degree programs at UNH apply through the Office of Admissions.
Application deadlines are March 1 and June 1. Students are admitted for fall semester, sophomore level only. The minimum required GPA for application is 3.2. All nursing pre-requisites must be completed or in process at the time of application. These include: ENGL 401, First-Year Writing; NUTR 400, Nutrition in Health & Well Being; PSYC 401, Introduction to Psychology; ZOOL 507, Human Anatomy & Physiology; and ZOOL 508, Human Anatomy & Physiology.
