Clinical Practicum
In the last semester of the senior year, students elect a clinical practice site based on their clinical interest, clinical strengths, and geographical location. UNH is one of the few programs nationally to have an extensive senior level clinical practicum.
Our students are highly regarded by the health care institutions
where they do their senior experience. Most are offered positions
at that institution.
Students may elect to do their practice in hospitals, clinics, community
health, or other health care settings. Although most students elect
to do their clinical practicum in New Hampshire, Boston, or Maine,
students have received approval to do their clinical experience
in settings as far away as San Diego and as unique as the Indian
Health Center in Arizona. List of recent
