Undergraduate Admission Process
In-coming Freshman
New students admitted to UNH may declare the Recreation Management
& Policy major upon entering UNH. Once you declare the major,
you will be assigned an academic faculty advisor who will work with
you throughout your course of study. Your advisor will consult with
you during course registration, serve as a resource for internship
placement, and be available to you as the need arises. Your advisor
will also teach some of your RMP courses, and you will get to know
one another both in the classroom and outside. We take great pride
in the mentor relationships that develop within our department and
our students often comment on the investment in students and commitment
of our faculty.
Internal Transfers
If you are already a student at UNH and have just discovered the Recreation Management & Policy Department, we welcome an opportunity to talk with you about your interests and to discuss whether our options match your academic and professional goals.
We encourage all students interested in applying to the major, to meet with an
RMP faculty member prior to receiving an application for admission to the major.
If you are interested in the Program Administration option, please contact Dr. Ann Morgan, almorgan@cisunix.unh.edu. If you are interested in the
Therapeutic Recreation option, please contact Patti Craig, pjcraig@cisunix.unh.edu.

15 will be considered for March, those that are received after March 15 will be considered
