Social Work

National Advocacy

Social workers have a long history of advocacy in an effort to promote
social and economic justice. Thanks to social workers and other
advocates, we have Social Security, Medicare, Unemployment Insurance,
and civil rights laws. To participate in our current national advocacy
efforts, go to: http://naswdc.org/advocacy/issues/ or http://naswdc.org/advocacy/updates/.
