Transfer Students

The social work department welcomes applications for admission from students who wish to transfer from other degree programs at UNH and from other institutions. For students interested in, but not yet committed, to the major - the courses: Introduction to Social Welfare Policy and Human Behavior and the Social Environment would prove useful and either would satisfy a general education requirement.

Transferring from within UNH

Students wishing to transfer into Social Work from another bachelor's degree program at UNH apply directly through the social work program. Students enrolled at the Thompson School of Applied Science or Division of Continuing Education associate degree programs apply through the Office of Admissions.

For more information, contact the department at (603) 862-1799

Transferring from Another Institution

Students enrolled at universities other than UNH and those enrolled at the University's Thompson School of Applied Science or Division of Continuing Education associate degree programs, apply for transfer admission through the Office of Admissions.
